we answer your questions

What do I wear to dancing?

PAWS has a uniform shop conveniently located on its premises where you can get all your dance clothing needs at a very reasonable price. For your first lesson just wear something that you can move comfortably in. If you are doing a circus class you need to wear tight fitting clothing and tights that go below your knees. There is more information on our Uniforms page.

Do parents watch classes?

Parents can watch classes on our CCTV cameras, which are linked to TVs in our comfortable waiting area. Parents also get to watch their little ones perform at our mid-year and end of year concerts.

How do I find out information about upcoming events and concerts?

PAWS has an app and a private Facebook page which are both updated regularly to keep you in the know about what is going on.

What is the difference between recreational classes and showgroup classes?

Rec classes are for students who want to dance for fun and fitness without being in competitions and other performance events throughout the year. Rec kids still have the option to be in our mid-year concerts and end of year concerts and are also welcome to be a part of our family fun events.

Showgroup classes are for our students who love to perform lots throughout the year in both competitions and local events. PAWS goes in around five eisteddfods per year and two local events. We also have optional extras such as shopping centre shows and club shows for those who want more than this.

How much are costumes?

PAWS costumes are very reasonably priced. We work very hard to keep costume costs to a minimum for all our parents.

Do circus kids get to perform as well?

Circus kids get to perform in our yearly circus and acrobatics showcase held at our studio at the end of third term, every year.

Our girls have now been going to Paws for a almost year now and they couldn't be more happy and excited about dancing again. From the moment we stepped in the doors everyone was so welcoming and friendly, So much variety in dance genres and singing to drama we knew this was the place for us! The amazing teachers have so much love and passion in what they do and and all the kids absolutely adore them. We are so excited to see what the future at Paws brings for our girls I know it is going to be incredible.
